DrumNet

DrumNet is pretty helpful if you’re starting a new song and need a quick groove to build on. It’s an 8-slot drum sampler that uses AI to generate drum sounds, so you can build entire kits from scratch without importing samples. The free version includes all functionality from the paid edition except the ability to export AI-generated sounds. DrumNet works well for hip-hop and electronic music, and its built-in step sequencer lets you create patterns on the spot.

Later, if I need more specific sounds, I’ll replace it with another drum VST or a sample pack. But for getting ideas down fast, it’s a useful starting point.
